Anyway to change your forum name?

Might be a dumb question but is there anyway to change your ID/Name on the forums?

Go to 'My Account' at the top of the screen, then click 'Account Management', then go down to 'Change Forum Name'.

click my account, should be beside deposit
then click account management

Everytime i put in the one i want it says "Please enter 3-12 alphanumeric characters. A maximum of 3 '_' (underscore character) is also allowed except the first or last character."

Wdf is that spost to mean?
