AR-70 on second crate/Mini review

I woke up this morning and saw this gun was GP crate. I wanted to punch my monitor because I knew I had no luck and would never win it. However, as I started up CF and waited for the patcher to finish, I started feeling pretty lucky. In fact, I felt like I was definitely going to win it. As I get into the BM, I spam "Purchase" over the AR-70 crate. I buy like 26 and win it on my second crate.



I know I didn't need to make a thread for this but this is the only thing I've ever won from the BM. I've bought 80 or so M4-C crates and 50ish XM8-Adv crates and I've never won either. Winning a crate gun is probably the best feeling EVER.

The AR has above average damage per bullet with medium recoil. I'm estimating its damage to be around QBZ-95 standards. This weapon is a little unstable on the move; the recoil will jerk sharp right or sharp left (usually sharp right) when moving forward. The accuracy is good but spray pattern is a bit inconsistent. When it works, I can spray with this gun very well. The rate of fire is average. It feels slightly heavier than an M4, maybe it's about AK weight. All in all, this gun is nothing special. Personally, I think it's a really fun gun to spray with and can likely fill out the position of Bag 1 adequately.

The fact that it's a GP crate shows that Z8 doesn't know what they're doing with basically anything. If the 5 extra bullets per mag is such a big advantage, they could've just lowered it to 30/90. This gun should be in the IS but it's too late now.
