I agree with this.

All the people saying they were close to winning because it was next to the 3 winning slots is incorect:
Example (fugures are made up for the sake of this):
3 slots that win, 97 slots that loose. The slots next to the ones that are the 3 win are a part of the ones that loose, therefore the idea of being close in a such gamble is wrong.
The only pupose is so you feel you were close to winning so you keep going, buy more etc.
