Sony vegas 9.0 help?

ok i need someone whos good with editing and all tht cr.ap with sony vegas.
I want to learn how to do tht thing where it goes slow at first, and then goes fast, and then goes slow again. I tired doing the holding ctrl, and dragging the clip longer, or shorter, but that makes the whole clip slower/faster

GO to Youtube and watch some tutorials, it's easy, but maybe you need a tutorial of how to use Youtube.
