how to be good at normal m4 and gold m4?

I own all the m4 and i found the m4 silver and m4 custom are easier to control and get headshots while the gold and normal is harder to control and i end up killing people without headshots, the kill time is slower than using m4 custom or silver... So i am asking for some advice for using the unsilenced m4. Thank you.

I usually aim at the neck and fire a 2-3 shot burst and usually get headshots
