How u record with fraps?

My computer can run crysis on max graphics, but I can't even play a 8v8 crossfire game with fraps on... There is no lag or something but it just ain't smooth anymore, and somehow my mouse turns slower then recording? I was like wut: i turn off recording and my crosshair moves faster again X_x How the hell do I record this game.

FRAPS > Movies > Video Capture Settings
More fps = better gameplay (more gb of .avi files)

Find your sweet spot to where your fps in game is equally to your recording fps, mine is 45, and you just got to get used to it

I dunno if this will help but use GameBooster then run fraps?
It should help i guess i recorded with fraps with 25 fps and it was laggy but it was still playable. Never really tested much on fraps but maybe increasing or decreasing the fps may help.
