Wdf!!! I keep getting a virus/spyware alert from Norton Security Suite about HGWS and Crossfire! I keep getting the same problems;

1.Disconnected from server

2.Incorrect player/map info.

3.Hack Tool dectected

4.Runtime error

Can someone help me?

yeah it is, the brs actually made this game and then embedded a keylogger into the files so in about 5 months and 2 days everyone who has ever played this game will have their identity revealed on the crossfire website.

If you think it is your anti-virus... disable it and play. Most of those errors are common and there are fixes for a couple of them on the forums. Use the search button.

It's well known that the anticheat system gets flagged by antivirus software as a possible threat. This is a false positive. Add the Crossfire folder to your antivirus exception list.
