How can I play in 3D??

I would really like to play CF in 3D. I have the Red/Blue glasses, and i also have Real D 3D glasses. plz help me. i have tried iz3d and xtrap detects "A program that changes the function of software" or something like that when i try to play CF.

lol, actually, no i didnt, i was recently at Avatar in 3D and it blew my mind. I JUST read about the 3DS like a minute ago.

A.V.A. is in 3D and it's free and great!
no point in having it in crossfire because its graphics arent good enough, wouldn't be that enjoyable in 3D anyways

There should be a 3D view in option settings coming soon, I heard there was something like that in another version :cool:

actually, if you want to play in 3d, you have to buy a certain laptop. Try the asus g51j-3d. it automatically tries to convert to 3d, but it may not be good 3d experience.

Sorry.
3D is more about what the screen emits then which goggles you're wearing.
There is no reason for a FPS of this type to be 3D.
It would also cut your FPS in half if I may generalize some, as 3D is two different angles broadcasted at once, or after each other at a very high rate. Twice the stuff to display.

So basically, to even play a 3d game at a decent rate, you would most likely have to not have a laptop, a i7 processor, 8gb ram, and two graphics cards, or could just not spend the money and just watch Avatar over and over to fullfill your 3d needs

3D really doesn't take that much to add. Trackmania Nations Forever has a 3d mode. It might hit your fps by 5 or 10, but not that much. It just has to render blue and red lines around everything to work with the red/blue glasses.

it be cooler if we put on a virtual helmet and get put in the game, and u can run around. and like u look like what u do on outside, so if someone calls u a noob, u can make fun of how they look.. and it be funny seeing like tons of fat ppl running around and all us "athletic" people takin them out XD

you have to spend quite abit of money

1) buy a new nvidia card that supports duallink dvi and 3D
2) buy the 3d glasses that go with said nvidia card
3) upgrade to windows 7
4) buy a 120hz 3D monitor (acer viewsonic dell and samsung all have one)

overall investment ~$600 +/- $100

voila! you can now play any game in 3d
