The normal XM8 is better than the Advanced!?!?!

Okay, so I’m an XM8 Adv user and during a game I ran out of ammo so I picked up the gun of a guy that I just killed, which happened to be a regular XM8. What surprised me was (other than the scope, we all know that sucks:p) the kill time for the XM8 was faster than the advanced, I have a time for how long to hold the trigger until someone dies and I think with the normal XM8 it was faster by a bit. Then I went on Alaska to try it again, and I still think that the XM8 had a lower kill time. I’m I just thinking this in my mind or did anyone else notice this too?

All the gun stats are the same. However, I like the XM8 stock better for two reasons:
1) The triple-burst function is useless,
2) The Advanced looks like a yellow gun put in tar. The scope is absolutely disgusting and the shading is horrible.

Just because you cant use the scope doesn't make it useless.

I used the xm8-adv for a long time and I loved it the whole time. It's a suburb burst weapon and that's how it should be used. As far as a quicker kill time goes they have the same damage (which is sh*t anyway, aim for the head and only the head). And the Adv has +5 bullets.
