Like 8th time redownloading and installing and it still aint worked QQ
anyone know how i could fix this?
if it didn't work the first time, why would you do it 7 more times, its not like the installation is going to be different.
so basically it doesn't let you load the game?
Try to disable your firewall, it can sometimes screw things up like that -

My firewall is off and i dont have an antivirus.
And cos sometimes it helps well thats what they say D; -
ok well, clean your registry out of all the xtrap files and stuff.
do this:
- Uninstall Crossfire
- Delete the whole z8games / crossfire folder with all the things that are inside it
- i duno what version of windows you have but on vista you can go to start and type in regedit to open up teh program, if not, just go to task manager > run and type in regedit to open it up.
- on the left side, you'll have a bunch of folders, open up computer ~> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE ~> SOFTWARE ~> Z8GAMES and delete EEVERYTHING THAT'S INSIDE IT, including the crossfire folder, or just right click on z8games and delete
- also, you might want to delete every reg file made by crossfire or xtrap, just press ctrl + F to open up the find box and search for crossfire and xtrap and delete anything that it finds which actually has to do with xtrap or crossfire because it might find files such as EXTRAPACKAGE which does contain xtrap in its name but doesn't actually have anything to do with the program itself.
- before reinstalling crossfire, restart your computer
i duno if that's gonnd help but you might wanna try it to see if it works -
No i aint done that, how do i do it?
Advanced SystemCare
It can be abit slow on the first run after installation.
Make sure you do tick all the boxes and have it do everything, de-frag may take quite a while though depending on the size of your HD.
It may or may not solve the problem, but it'll help you out alot anyways even if it doesn't. -

advanced system care is not all it's cracked up to be, just use Glary utilities it is far more lightweight and just as effective.
