People can be so ignorant.
This is win.
Ok, your sig is referring to a conversation you had with Boldur about whether or not an aimbot could be used without ESP active.
You were arguing that it couldn't be. You asked me, over xfire, what I thought. I then referenced you to a video of somebody blatantly aimbotting without any visual marks besides the crosshair locking and following heads. (For those who wonder, I don't know where the video is now, I formatted my computer recently so it's gone from my browser history.)
You see what I'm getting act Z? -
Dren's a pretty decent editor. He's been getting better. I agree his colors in the past have been over contrasted, but he's improved since then. It also helps that unlike some other posts, I think colors are towards the bottom of the list of importance. Obviously if they're terrible they can ruin the video, but I'm much more interested in who's playing, the quality of the frags, the quality of the video/fps, the sync/audio used.
Thank's.
I love u -

You obviously don't know what you're talking about.
I was arguing that it CAN be used without esp.COLOSSAL | denxi[ju] [oL]: Bolder's statement is false
COLOSSAL | denxi[ju] [oL]: I've seen a clean vid of a blatant aimbotter
So Denxi is "too stupid" as well? Right?
@Dren If you're thinking I'm saying you hack I'm not. He asked why people sometimes rage at replays, I gave him an answer that I figured why they would. It's not my opinion nor do I care if you use in-game footage or not. At one point I thought you hacked but then found out of your nasty trick (vent).
Also I should have edited my post and put proves the video rather than the player because that is incorrect. -

My mistake, I got my words mixed up.
However that doesn't change what I was getting at, that being that you can have clean ingame footage and still be cheating. -
I'm sorry, but Sykz is the best CF editor.

Because in-game footage proves you're legit.
Who cares if someone is legit? The point is not for it to be a bust clip; but a clip to show the frags/editting, not that it doesn't matter if someone is hacking or not, but yea point is to show frags/editting. -

I agree about what Denxi is saying, overcontrasted videos look "too bright," "overedited," etc. And when you use your more subtle colors, dren, it barely looks touched.
The reason I like neof's colors so much is because he can use them brightly, but it just looks more crisp. Example: the Summer colors. Bright with a gradient, but again, crisp. I don't know what affect it is, but I love it. A little bit of contrast is fine, but use it at discretion or else you'll receive even more comments like the ones above.
Hi. The most important aspect of a "video" (I'm assuming you mean a "frag video" seeing as the topic / other posts in this thread) is to emphasize / display the frags and gameplay. Colours should be used as an enhancement, used to subtlety (or sometimes not so subtlety) accent key plays and increase the overall viewing enjoyability of the video.
For me, I focus on syncing the frags with the audio, and then I add effects, and then I add colours. When I'm doing the edit I don't even think about what the colour will be until after I'm done the edit.
I have to say I love braves "style". If I had to explain it I would call it simplistic flair. He doesn't use revolutionary or stunning visual effects, and his sync isn't even on all the time, but his videos are..... cute. Colors are decent and upbeat, audio is usually catchy and entertaining, and the in-game sounds are decently calibrated to the audio track. Braves seems to me like the kind of guy who can only get steadily better, and it's really great to see him getting the recognition that he deserves. Obviously I had faith in him to allow him to upload his latest vid to my channel but I do have to say it took me a little by surprise at just how much he improved from dreams. No doubt a "top" CF editor right now.
Dren. Love his style? Hate it? I personally can't tell. I never know what to expect from him. Is it going to be a simply done video with nice sync and a great contrast alteration like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BCPZ7Simx6Q
or is it going to be a extremely overdone, and drawn out / confusing affair like his rpBigL movie?
A few people were criticizing the audio he uses. Well... he uses all different sorts. He is constantly asking me for songs and experimenting with many different tracks. IMO he is yet to find a style that fits him and he likes. His community movie was imo quite well done (in most regards), but his chrissay movie was a big letdown (possibly the song that made me want to kill myself, who knows). What I'm trying to say is that this kid either goes big or goes home. He tosses out a vid and people either love it, or they hate it. You can't please everyone and obviously the people who said "no" to him being a good editor aren't pleased (although is it more of a personal issue with his ego / trash talk?).
Anyways, I don't think these two should be compared to another as they aren't really in the same category (to me at least). Braves rocks the stock effects and dren rocks the MBL. Two different approaches, two different styles. Like that one guy said: "It's preference".
Edit: I forgot to mention that I have no idea what style I have as I rarely know what "theme" or type of video I am going to do until I pick the song(s). Also, both Braves / Dren are better than me. -

Rocking preset colors with a song that is nothing but a beat to sync with = simplistic flair.

I don't like your editing style much either. For music I like going to musigh.com
You're good at beat-syncing but I don't like the contrast/color correction. Get Magic Bullet Looks for vegas and use one of the like 200 presets.
