I've seen a lot of people complaining about how Z8 is not doing anything and how they are in a conspiracy "To keep all cheaters who buy ZP in CF".
Z8 is not the problem, people. I just saw in another thread how people were complaining to [MOD]Rex about how ever since Z8 came into play, nothing has been done. Rex was right that G4Box has always run CF and will continue to do so. Mods, such as Goddish, have been in CF while it was under Suba, and they were under Z8 as well.
So, on to the complaints about cheaters. "I sent a report like 100 years ago on some guy who went 100-0 and got all headshots with m700. He had to be aimbotting. Ban him alrdy, omg!" The previous quote is what I see all the time, just in different variations.
I have few questions for the reporter of that hypothesized quote.
Was that person twitching? If so, then you are right. If not, that person is just a pro.
Did you see any 360 spins? See answers to my previous question.
Did you look at the replay yourself and see that the person was looking at people through walls? If so, then that is chamms, not aimbot. If not, then the person is pro.
People never follow guidelines the MODS and GMS give, and just because they see a godly score, they ASSUME that people are cheating. Some players can not handle that fact that they are not number one, and it really affects their judgement. Some people don't even know how some cheats function, and try to label them poorly. Please, people, if you do not know what chamms/aimbots/walls/speeds do, do not accuse people of using them. You are making yourselves look stupid.
Flames are not appreciated. I would not like to see any "omg QQ thread close plawx!" comments. This is supposed to be a nice and friendly open discussion.
On an ending note: This is my #1 rule: DO NOT ASSUME (for emphasis, not for shouting.).

Well, it's better than the threads that really QQ about people cheating and how reports don't go through. One of my clanmates was reported at least 300 times, but he did not cheat. He had a LEGIT, unfarmed 3.0 KDR. I've been reported a couple of times, and I did not worry. Never been banned, not even temporarily, and I plan on keeping it that way.

Your argument is based on the assumption that people don't follow the guidelines that the GM's put out and that I don't know what a hack is; this is nonsense as in that thread I also stated that I follow all of the guidelines to the letter about reporting hackers, and I am perfectly able to tell who is a hacker and who isn't.

You forget that life is not lived in isolation. I know people in Cf, and a lot of them do not know how certain cheats function. I won't explain much more.

Even you have to agree that Z8 is working on the NUMEROUS issues in CrossFire that we have, ranging from glitching to cheating to balancing. However, we do not know to what extent they are working. Do they overwork? Do they work normally? Do they work like they're the laziest people on earth? You forget the community out numbers the staff by thousands. One staff member can only process one thing at a time. Try reading 2 emails exactly at the same time. Try listening to two songs at the same time. Things will get mixed up, and mistakes will be made.

You're right to guess that I am arguing hotly, I am. After all, your evidence from my post was incorrect, and you made it sound like I was some ignorant fool who doesn't know when someone hacks.
No doubt you have seen many threads that moan about "hackers" who were just Pro-players, but the fact that you chose MY post as the evidence for your thread when I was simply talking about an actually hacker, who was reported yet is not deleted makes your original post moot, because the evidence you provided was disproved.
If this was a courtroom, you would be finished. It's like a mobster who people know sells drugs and finally someone tries to prosecute. Everyone knows he is guilty, but the evidence the prosecution uses is proven wrong, and the mobster walks away freely, despite everyone knowing he is guilty. A metaphorical example but relevant.
I actually believe z8 is doing all they can against the glitchers/hackers in the game, after all, it is their job. I'm also willing to bet they have no more than 10 people working on the coding of the game to eliminate these problems and it takes a lot of time to break down the hacks, and modify the game accordingly. The glitching coding might actually be harder, as they would have to go into their original coding to fix the problem, or create a whole new layer.
But now, I'm not sure what the point of your thread is.
