game wont start up

after i installed the new msn messenger plus, crossfire wont start up anymore, i get to the start screen but the patcher wont load and when i start cf again i get the following error:"Patcher is already running".

thanks, i was just going to reinstall
what just happend was, i launched the game, it didnt start i went to kitchen for 10 min adn when i sit back behind my computer after 4 minutes cf launched. lol

i reinstalled the game but still having the same exact problem, after i press start the windows disappear and i can see Patcher_cf.exe in task manager under processes and after 15 minuteswhen i already surf the internet etc the patcher window randomly pops up. I can add that after i last had it running and before it first started doing this i installed a new MSN plus version and i have run proxyfire, i think thats all i did.
help please

Uninstall the game (now) , download the game (after) , and install again.

U may ask , why , the answer is that , they updating the cilent in every patch and the "old" cilent can't refresh. Thats why u need to redownload and install the game after every patch , sometimes after mini patches too.

I did that, now with the new patch it started doing the same thing. when i start it up it takes around 5-10 minutes to start up the patcher window where it loads to 100% and then works fine, the only problem is the start up time. 10 minutes after starting the exe i can play?
