I'm getting an M14 soon, and soon after that a Mod 0 chassis. Hands down best weapon I can think of for a zombie apocalypse. Also, crowbar. It can build stuff, it can tear stuff down, it can crush skulls. Throw in a Glock 19 for good measure (not the best sidearm in the world, but I've used it enough to be very comfortable with it). The ensuing bloodbath I create will unfold to the tune of Nerve by Soilwork.

What ever you do, don't pick Paris Hilton as a sidekick, because zombies feed on brains. So whenever you would want to throw your sidekick into a zombie crowd to make a clean getaway, and at the same time, writ the world of an even greater catastrophe, she'll survive while zombies chase you instead.
