16 bit colour or 32? please help

hey i want to know wots the difference between 16 and 32 colour.
will 16 bit make me have more fps? and will it make my graphics worse? and if yes how much worse.
my normal fps is about 30-50

    Your fps should be higher with 16 bit.

    IMO, I don't see too much of a difference in my brain.
