15 = take your drivers license. After 6 months driving when you are 16 years old you can take a MSF training course for like $200? At least that's how it is in Florida. -

in Europe is much more harder and expensive, at least in Spain
16: motorbike ( 125 cc max )
18: car
and after 3 years of driving a car u can drive bigger bikes -
...ouch. I'd die.In the Netherlands its even worse. (or better, depending on how you look at it)
Here you have to be at least 18 for both a car or a bike up to 125cc, and 3 years of driving experience for heavier bikes.
Alcohol on the other hand here, you have to be 16 for light alcohol, like beer or wine, and 18 for strong liquor, like whiskey.
On the one hand you can say that is messed up. However, on the other hand, here people generally first learn the effects of alcohol, before they are going to drive themselves home. So instead of getting used to driving themselves for 5 years or more and then experience what it is like to be stupid drunk for the first time, which ultimately leads D.U.I.s, they first learn what its like to get stupid drunk for 2 years, and then get taught how to operate lethal killing machines, and hopefully figure out from experience that you can't combine the 2.
