Namedrop good groups. No screamy deathmetal, no bad hiphop.

Pendulum/Hollywood Undead/Vivaldi-styles preferred, although anything with a solid melody goes.

Oh, its not for editing or anything. Just regular listening.

Thrice: albums: some of Vheissu, most of the Alchemy Index, Beggars maybe
Coheed and Cambria: basically all albums, the sing plays amazing guitar and sings amazingly and plays an air synth with his Afro
Circa Survive: basically all albums except for some of the newest album, if it's been released (pre-ordered it)
PMToday: some of it might be screamy to you from thier first, second not as much

if you want a good band without singers: Explosions in the Sky, songs are pretty long too
