Will CrossFire Ever Support Full 5.1/7.1 Surround Sound

Like CS:S and Combat Arms they all support full surround sound to take FULL advantage of the gaming experience. I have purchased a Logitech G35 which is 7.1 surround sound and in a thread [MOD]dot states " Crossfire Is Done In Stereo, surround sound headsets just emulate". but my question is why hasn't surround been a priority instead of new maps or weapons why not better sound ambience and clarity? I think it'll be a AWESOME addition to the game especially for pinpointing ghosts. (Also considering sometimes pinpointing is poop cause of shovels and axes wackin you upside the head before you can hear them.

So what do you all think?

Also as a sidebar how do i make my forum letters a different color? and also post a picture and not just a link do i use the embedded html?

Good idea, although I don't know if Z8 is ready for that yet.

ive only heard good things from logitech tbh haha i have a hs called trittons which are universal and pretty niffty

Ye, people misunderstood me with that though, I don't want it JUST FOR CROSSFIRE
I want it for music, CS... etc. cause CF is only 2.1 lol

the ingame directional sound is terrible but i doubt it will ever be fixed, its as bad as it was in closed beta. This is one of my biggest problems with the game.

I dont see anything wrong with the current sound system...sorround sound isnt that important to a game like this one..Its good for watching HD movies but crossfire? not so much...they should work on the bugs first before that happens

I would really love for crossfire to introduce the 7.1 surround sound.. I'm looking into buying this and crossfire would sound perfect with it.
