It is not because they 'know' what you searched for and then show you ads that match your searches (that's a common misconception with Google Adsense), these ads on this forum are not even Adsense nor are they targeted ads - They are totally random probably the only targeting they have is geo targetting ie shows to certain regions or countries.

Google Adsense are not even based on previous searches either:

Like I said when someone pointed out "CF Hack" ads were displayed on the WOGL Adsense units, the answer was "you must have searched for it previously" - That is untrue.

The reason "CF Hack" ads were shown on WOGL most likely was because the page they were on was about Crossfire thus the ad that someone wanted to show matched the content.

Yes Google lauched a previous searches feature that can help further target ads so that they are tailored for you 'personally' so you are much more likely to click the ad, but 99% or most Adsense ad targetting is based on a content match ie ad/page matches = show ad.

Just get ad-block and you'll no longer have these weird ads.
