I still don't understand MVP

I was in a MM game for fun, running around and breaking glass, boxes. At the end of the game I somehow got MVP without really killing that many mutants. I mean, is this possible?

MVP - Most Valuable Player.

The guy who did the most damage over all (despite total kills).
I dunno that looks like a bug, should it not say ACE?

But I didn't do any damage...except to the breakable objects

Yes It Sometimes Happens.

Most People In M.M. Could Get MVP Even Though The
Player Didn't Kill That Much Mutant.
