I grew up a metal head and as a lay dying are trash. Music is personal preference sure, but eh.? How can someone attempt to compare bands like sabbath, slayer, pantera, megadeth etc to as i lay dying. Christian metal bands have sucked for as long as I can remember. Also they look like girls and sound like pms'ing girls. Whatever floats your boat.

AILD ain't too bad. The Sound Of Truth, Nothing Left, Forever, Anodyne Sea are great songs but everything else is just... Meh.

they arent a "christian metal" band, they've said it before, they are a metal band of christians. theres a difference.

I thought this was about the book... shame. Instead, it's about the terrible metalcore band.

EDIT: Plenty of awesome Christian metal bands, however. Extol, Mortification, Narnia, Divinefire, etc.
