Failed to download patch file

Hey, i am trying to get back into crossfire after havent played in a couple months. now when i try to update crossfire it finishes it till it gets to the last one then it says failed to download patch file. can anyone help me with this problem

This is what i did i got the crc whatever error so i reinstalled game then reboot computer but then a failed to update error thing came up so i ran as administrator or my own account since i am the administrator and i ran the program in compability for windows 2000 and it worked

Usually you have to try it a few times. If it still gives you the same error, then the only thing I can think of is that your connection is too weak and the patch is timing out.
