Auto Shotguns

I was wondering could we be blessed with a migher class of shotgun, like the usas-12 or aa-12 automatic shotguns 20 round drum fed for random crate pick up in MM, and for buyable one's that have the 10 round stick mag?

secondary request is to have a buyable item. Slugshot piercing rounds for zp or something that works in the shotguns only. just a thought, as i have never seen a game with them at all.

Keep on bring out the guns and custom guns! can never have enough guns!

  • check cf china for guns and request ones they have, ima get cf china and make a thread with all there weapons and update, and people can QQ over why we dont have them all!
  • the xm1014 is pretty much as good as the saiga and loads of people would complain about the aa-12.

    10 and 12 round stick mags exist for the saiga. So do plenty of different styles of 20 round drums. What ****es me off more is that the semi-auto shotguns they already have in game act like pump auction, you can't fire them worth a ****.

    They should also add variable ammo and scopes/red dots for them. They spread too damn much also. People like shotguns for a reason and this game has ruined any semblance of their functionality.

    No, I get it. We should take out all projectiles because it's too tough on the people using melee weapons.

    The bad idea is not using it when the situation calls for it. They need to add better weapons. Or fix the weapons that are already in game, the Dragunov is a pathetic joke of it's real life destruction machine. Otherwise this game will just be more and more of the same old BS and it'll get stale before it's time.

  • Yes.

    Shotguns are Primary weapons. Meaning you can't pull it out as a secondary (ex: Desert Eagle).

    Just decrease the range, decrease the ammo (imo, you only need 2-3 for a kill).

    The power can be a little higher than SPAS-12, but not that much.

    I know the AA12 exists. But just because it exists, doesn't mean its a suitable weapon for CrossFire. A 20/32 shell drum on an full automatic shotgun means that you can spray with 0% chance of missing. You would have to max out the recoil just to balance it out a little and make it fair against other players. 26353290t.gif

    Have you ever shot an automatic shotgun? ****ing hell they're tough to keep on target. You need all kinds of recoil buffers, good shock absorbing butt-pad and heavy duty springs. I just want a decent semi-auto shotgun. The ones in game are a joke.

    There wouldn't be a 0% chance of missing anyways. Depending on what kind of ammo you're using, what kind of choke, how far away they are, if you have a scope on it and you're looking in a different direction when you're firing or not. There are plenty of ways to miss depending on what you're trying to do with it.

    They're definately a viable weapon for crossfire when any rifle can headshot from across the map if you aim for 2 seconds and any quickly aimed close-range rifle spray can take someone out in less time than that.

    I guess I just don't understand the antipathy.

    While we're add it let's add some full auto pistols as sidearms. I want a motha****in' stechkin.

    Mutation mode is all about camping. Back-against-the-wall camping. You don't need to look in other directions. Just that 1 direction the mutants will be coming from. And with the push-back power an automatic shotgun has, all you have to do is let it rip as soon as they are within 10-15 foot range and your weapon with blast them to shreds as if its a minigun. 26353290t.gif

  • As LolliRoger said the AA12 is out there but it doesn't mean it's the right or wrong shotgun for CrossFire, but I think having it for a Supply Crate in 'MM' wouldn't be a bad idea.

    the AA12 in CrossFire for every type of game mode there is, is very unlikey it's too overpowered because it's a Auto Shotgun and nobody could really kill him and about the time they do kill him the match is already over.

    tune down the fire rate and the ammount of ammo in a clip or drum and is might work.

    I think the Suggestions Forum is getting some where, now only if the MOD's and GM's would get in here which i don't think is going to happen.

    not entirely true, it's also about rushing after teh stupid crates when you clearly need to camp! :P
    i prefer to 1v1 mutants anyway, much more fun :P
