You guys do know that Formating a computer many times gets the Hard Drive Screwed up... Right?

Only possible thing i could see happening is that your hard disk inside gets "corrupt".

Because i had a undesired issue that i messed about with for about 2 weeks.

After finding no solutions to the problem i was having a reformat never hurts.

So yes reformatting was the answer thanks for your concern. (100% sure i know how to fix and maintain PC's)
