Sudden FPS Lag Spikes

So when im playing crossfire for like 10 minutes its all cool good fps, like 50-55 fps and suddenly out of no where my fps just goes all the way down to like 9fps!!and i dont know why,its not my internet connection because im the only one connected to the internet at my house and i know its not my graphics card because i've played crossfire fine before.

Comments

  • FPS dropping is hardware/computer related try turning the effects off/down
  • Me too, I ran CF with like 30-40fps @ minimum all the time, but recently I get, as the OP, like 9fps all the time, wth. How come I run other games that require much more but I can't run this? My ping is 92-97, so it's not it.

Might an Nvidia GeForce 9800 be an issue lol(?) which I doubt.
Not even with GameBooster I can be saved... "Oh Lawd!"
    Gonna try reinstalling.
