Error in InitRenderer[]. Shutting down.

I'm posting this in Barracks because if it was in Tech Support I would just get linked to other thread in Tech Support which I have tried and didn't help whatsoever.

If you aren't in the helping mood don't read.

I have updated everything so far that seems needed.
Updated drivers
Updated DirectX
Updated everything Microsoft felt I need to (Service Packs, etc.)

When I start crossfire it loads xtrap, does the HGW Gamewatcher then goes to a black screen (Should be the loading screen), then I get this error "Error in InitRenderer[]. Shutting down."

If you have any helpful solutions that 'might' help I'm all ears, you may have to walk me thru some of it as I am not a computer nerd

This usually happens when you have reformatted your computer and have not installed your video drivers . If you have not reformatted your computer as by stated by DrB update your video drivers .

You usually get a disk with all the driver's need for your computer, try looking around to see if you have it. If not open your computer and manually check your video card model number,name etc.. Then google the company's name usually they have a download's page, download it install it AND BAM .

Also if you don't know how to open a computer and don't wana mess around with it, i don't know what to tell you then .
