most fps's have recoil are you this bad? there is hardly any recoil in cf compared to css or cs 1.6 how do you possibly have trouble with it? Try not moving when you shoot and learning how to strafe.

he's probably used to playing cod...my friend from cod said the same thing

The main difference between CF and other FPS games is that the weapons actually have great accuracy, but a ton of recoil. AKA your first shot goes dead center of your screen, and your 3rd shot and up (depending on what gun you use) will go anywhere but in your crosshair. Try changing your crosshair to type 3/c/whatever it's called, it's the O with a dot in the center. Any assault rifle and many SMG's will have first bullet go directly on the dot. Just practice shooting 1-3 bullets at a time, don't move while firing unless you're holding shift to move slow (and even then guns have a lot more recoil than standing still), don't jump while firing or your weapon accuracy and recoil will be absolutely horrible, and above all make the first shot count- aim for the head. Most guns are 4+ hits to the body or 1 hit to the head for a kill.

Look at Tutorials on Guns and adapt to a few weapons.
practise in FFA's,TD's and then move onto Snd's.
