my time in crossfire
before I start, I'd like to say this is not a look how many clans i got into or QQ thread. This is strictly informational and biographical. So, why am I doing this: I'd like to report on the levels of hac.king and all that. Also to show the "glory" and "mishaps" of the old days in CF.
March 2009:
Start my 1st account (by the way I probably have a new account every month or three.)
Meet a hac.ker and actually convince him to play fair.
April 2009:
I am introduced to Ventrilo and Team Fuzz (not a member yet).
I suck horribly.
May 2009:
I spend time with Team Fuzz and become 2 times better than before.
Fuzzbutt leaves team Fuzz due to "some problems" and gives leader to Fathertime.
June 2009:
My time with Team Fuzz is short lived, I leave right before their glory days are over.
I join iTeam which has just started out.
I clan hop to ItsJustAGame. I find that they hac.k and leave.
I go to iTeam, but have to prove loyalty to stay with them.
JzShorty blackmails me into joining GetFragged and I let iTeam know about this. I spend time with them, and leave when they disband to join Sinster.
M4 Custom introduced. Hac.k levels skyrocket.
July 2009:
I am reaccepted into iTeam. LND wants iTeam to rejoin them. Pray, Fungao (Fake), Rain, and I decide to screw them and keep with iTeam.
August 2009:
I am booted from iTeam but not from vent due to insubordination. After 2 weeks, I am readmitted for being a loyal "member on probation". Fun fact: while I did not havve the iTeam tag next to my name, and a LOT of people wanted iPuff kicked from games and banned, I told them to kick the real hac.kers and in exchange I would kick Puff. Hac.ker kicked, Puff stays. I get kicked. Take one for the team.
Aug 31: Birthday. Puff gives me my first set of 20k ZP. I win nothing (oh well, its a lottery. I don't cry like most people.)
Sept 2009:
All goes normal, but hac.king is at an all-time high.
We get members from LND.
Puff disbands iTeam due to Pray's inactivity as a leader, and we reunite as ROFL Gaming, without Pray.
Fun stuff.
Oct 2009:
We become a well known scrim clan (well, semi-well-known.) Our days of glory are here.
Nov 2009: I quit Crossfire to focus on studies.
May 2010:
I try crossfire for a day. M12s is here and game is OP, I quit again.
June 2010:
I try crossfire the last time. All weapons are so imbalanced, I quit forever. Hac.king even higher up this time.
Afterwords:
This game is dying. The community is falling apart. If anyone wants to do anything about it, the community must stop most of the immoral behavior, or CF will be another WarRock. We all know how immature pros are in WarRock, eh?

They shouldn't add new weapons.
First of all. Fix these glitches/bugs.. Client error fails/Incorrect Player info. Fix the Scar Light, example more Recoil and less power... M12s increase the power... Shovel fix the broken animation....and at the end, unable too hack -

Did you just say increase the m12s power? That's strange. I find it OP, not UP. I say: slightly increase fire rate and nerf the hell out of power, like cut it in half. Give it an extra clip while you're at it. -

The cummunity got shiiettiee .I miss LND,Marvel,Team Fuzz and other real clans who deserve TOP 10. -

I saw this video just now. Ok, I won't beat around the bush.
You rely on the upgraded AWM XMAS to do that. Even with the normal AWM, I never see you quickswitch. And you call yourself good? All pros quickswitch... Not to mention, anyone can do that in TDM, no.. not even TDM, even in any PUB. Play some scrimms against good clans, then tell me how good you are. Your reflexes are slow as hell. I for sure could have destroyed you. I have AWM rushed before against KRISSERS and won. Quickscope is also a necessary strat, I do not see you using it.
I may be "letting the troll win" here, but hel, if he's taking me down, I'm shutting this guy up.
A little note to all:
PUBS DO NOT SHOW SKILL BECAUSE THE PEOPLE YOU PLAY AGAINST ARE NOT GUARANTEED TO BE GOOD. Play against real clans, and I'm not talking about the top ten. I'm talking about small elite clans that have only 8 members total or something like that. If a clan exceeds 50 members, it is almost always bound to be a PUB clan. SCRIM clans range from 8 people to 45 people. 45 is the max. There are exceptions, but this is quite a general rule. I can barely stand my own against the real pro snipers. -
This all goes back to the other thread. This game absolutely, 100% without-a-doubt get better without the community shaping up first. This community is going down the drain faster than anyone can keep up with. The Management HAS to get it under control because soon and VERY soon, it will be too late.

I'm afraid it's already quite late. The m12s and the KRISS are the downfall of this community. Yeah, I actually played CF on saturday. Played it. Got flamed at for quickscoping at close range. F11 > bye bye. -
I posted quite a lot on that other thread. Honestly, the in-game weapon system in my opinion, is not the downfall of this community. It's the overall mentality of the community. In-game, out of game - It doesn't matter. This community has the mentality of an 8 year old, with the exceptions to that statement of course. But overall, this community is SO childish, it's not appealing at all. The QQ'ing, the trolling, the arguing, the flaming, everything about it screams, "I'm an immature little child." Plain and simple.
Like I said, there are exceptions to the above statements, so I apologize in advance if I have offended any of the exceptions. But for the most part, it's been the lack of enforcement of rules and the small child mentality. It has to change or this game will not make it, not to where anyone enjoys it at least. -
We're all blaming different things.
I personally blame weapons.
You blame immaturity, which i blame to a certain degree.
Others blame BRs, which I don't think it is always their fault. Ah, who am I kidding? I just don't blame them as much.
Reasons I blame weps:
1. M12s is so Op that everyone has one.
2. When someone kills or is killed by a m12s noob, they say, "stupid m12s nub gg i pwnzor u"
3. Some fool decides: hey I should get perfect aim and no recoil and faster fire rate on m12s, let me get that with my VIP hac.ks.

at least you get that. I get 16 fps on my Sony VAIO in 8v8. When they pop the smokes, 10 fps or below. Anyhow, we're in the smae boat. You probably have the slightly better Intel HD Graphics IGPU solution?

I have vista. Feel my pain lol. anyway, I hope CF is ported to Mac and gets some elite anti-hac.k cause Macs never rip you off. People say they're so expensive and all, but they forget that Macs come with some fancy stuff. 13 inch MBP is like a steal on your part. An IGPU that's actually good? LOL, yeah. nVidia GeForce 320M. The best IGPU. -
