I didnt use it in cf us but i used it in VN version.Worse accur than aug,high recoil and very bad,if you realy want,buy it but i recomend to have an aug
Do you own a TAR 21? i do, I also owned a AUG, The TAR has better accuracy, power and reload.
The AUG has a better scope and is lighter.
The TAR 21 overall is better than the AUG, But it has a horrible spray.
The AUG camo, I say is better than the TAR 21.
They are still both good guns.
I love the TAR 21 and the AUG. But the TAR is still better. -

Okay, the power, auto, and reload of a TAR are basically clones of every other AR on the market. Nuff said there.
Now,
Accuracy on the TAR's great when scoped in, but from what I've used the spray pattern is one b*tch of a lady to master. Like, M60 tough. The looks on it really aren't that bad, but I'm not really a fan of anything IMI Israel put out except for the Deagle. (Micro-GALIL...ew.) IMO, if you want a good scoping rifle, go for the XM8 instead...it's pretty damn reliable if you're not expecting another SCRUB-L clone. -
IMO, the Tar can compete amongst the stereotypical "pro guns." It has incredible accuracy, M4 power, excellent fire rate, and low recoil. It is also relatively lightweight. The biggest downside is its spray pattern; you can still spray with it at closer ranges but expect to be strictly bursting at mid to mid-close ranges. Spray pattern is really only a buying factor in a gun if its a REALLY good spray (think AK47) or if you can't stop spraying. If you can control yourself, the Tar is a pretty reliable weapon.
If you choose to go for something different, don't hesitate to pick up the XM8... or if you're feeling brave, the QBZ. You could also go for the G36K. These are just rifles similar to the Tar; high fire rate which makes them excel in close range. -
The TAR is like a fast shooting M4 with slightly lower power. It's a good gun even without the scope if you can control the recoil. Then when you get in a long range fight you have the option to zoom in for better visibility and control. Overall it's a really decent gun, it feels different than most other guns but once you get used to it the TAR-21 is beastly.

In comparison to the AUG:
Better firing rate - They're pretty close, but I would say the TAR has a faster RoF.
Faster reload - not by much, both guns are really slow reloaders.
Horrible spray - I bought it when it came out, sold it the next day. The spray pattern is terrible and uncontrollable for me.
Accuracy - completely inferior to the AUG. You're comparing this to one of if not the most accurate rifle, and it doesnt even come close. AUG is far more accurate.
Power: AUG is better for one-shotting because of the accuracy, while the TAR is more suited to bursting someone because it has slightly more power.
Weight doesn't particularly make a difference here as they're in the same weight category.
TL;DR: AUG > TAR
