Go over the conversation and you'll notice that you're the only one that's heckling. The point that Max was trying to state is that when you say "everyone" thinks the console "sucks" you are not considering the fact of it's popularity (which oddly enough you agreed with).
If it is the most purchased unit, clearly the majority of people out there (not just this forum) don't think it's as bad as you say.
You mentioned everyone has their own oppinion. Why then, is someone who doesn't agree with you "ignorant", "uneducated" and should "stfu"?

Also, he isn't disagreeing with me. He is neglecting to realize that because people on here think the games suck doesn't make them wrong just because some statistic says that the Wii is the most popular console.
The whole "debate" started because you told someone who didn't like the Wii that it doesn't "suck" because it's popular. This had nothing to do with my opinion in the first place. Once the novelty of being motion controlled wears off all it is a a console for little kids to play tennis without going outside.
It was meant to be a computer game that was to encourage exercise but all you have to do is spam wrist movements which you exercise with different activities o.O
The motion control is not what holds the wii up above the ranks. Nintendo has out performed all other consoles in terms of popularity and fun from the very beginning. -

the reason why the wii costs less is for several reasons.
1. sure they have less hardware, but the focus of nintendo is not to create realistic looking games, the focus is to create innovate new ways of having fun, while sticking to what has worked in the past.
2. Nintendo understands that eveyone already has the internet, dvd players, and cds. The wii was not made to make you pay for stuff you possibly won't use. (there are plans of wii addon's to support these capabilites so you don't have to buy them if you don't want to)
3. The Wii was created for the "everyman", or for basically everybody to own. The XBOX and the PS3 are the rich man's video game systems, the wii was made for everyone else.
Renamon, i can sorta understand you. I play my computer more than i play my wii. ATM my tv is broken, so i can't really enjoy my wii very well now can i?I hate the wii so much..... I would play my computer instead.

when i wanna watch a movie i go to internet with my ps3 and go to the link where i can watch that movie

Most of the people on Xbox Live aren't like that, actually. Even if they are annoying you there is a mute feature and feature to avoid that player in future games. we pay alot in the begining and if we want we can buy something from playstation store
and there r many free demo's or updates
like new clothes for fifa 10 u can get for free in playstation store
and free demo's like fifa street dragonball z
ps3 is the best console atm -
i find this trueI plan on buying a PS3 but love the Wii.
PS3>Wii>XBOX IMO.
Wii doesn't compare to the others though, I think it's in it's own category, so it's unfair to compare it to the others
the ps3 and the XBOX are entertainment systems, and the wii is strictly a video game system
