Well in a bid to sell more of their consoles... Activision and Microsoft made a deal to have all Game Add-ons and map packs be on Xbox first...

And thats what you do.. you dont buy a console that does the exact same thing because more people like it... You buy it because you want to play with your friends.. whats the point in owning something because people say its better and have noone to play with -

some people say sbox 360 has better graphics but thats not true
PS3 technically does as the hardware can take that much. id love to see an Xbox run some of the PS3 exclusives -

Exactly. It kinda sucks not being able to play MGS4 but it's cool because I can play online with my buds. The 360 has really nice online and even though people complain, it's not that expensive imo.

Go over the conversation and you'll notice that you're the only one that's heckling. The point that Max was trying to state is that when you say "everyone" thinks the console "sucks" you are not considering the fact of it's popularity (which oddly enough you agreed with).
If it is the most purchased unit, clearly the majority of people out there (not just this forum) don't think it's as bad as you say.
You mentioned everyone has their own oppinion. Why then, is someone who doesn't agree with you "ignorant", "uneducated" and should "stfu"?

to adress some of your points, let me state the following.
so what if the XBOX and the PS3 can go on the internet, play dvds, cds, etc.?
Don't you already have a computer with internet capabillity? don't you already have a dvd player? and who even listens to cds anymore?
the reason why the wii costs less is for several reasons.
1. sure they have less hardware, but the focus of nintendo is not to create realistic looking games, the focus is to create innovate new ways of having fun, while sticking to what has worked in the past.
2. Nintendo understands that eveyone already has the internet, dvd players, and cds. The wii was not made to make you pay for stuff you possibly won't use. (there are plans of wii addon's to support these capabilites so you don't have to buy them if you don't want to)
3. The Wii was created for the "everyman", or for basically everybody to own. The XBOX and the PS3 are the rich man's video game systems, the wii was made for everyone else. -

Once the novelty of being motion controlled wears off all it is a a console for little kids to play tennis without going outside.
It was meant to be a computer game that was to encourage exercise but all you have to do is spam wrist movements which you exercise with different activities o.O -

u dont need to pay to go on internet lol u just need to give ur bankcard number to make an account -
