We would be there. I reckon out irish team with Trappatoni could lead us to win group 1. Uruguay werent that impressive and I'd rate some of our players better than Frances,Given/Keane/Dunno/O'Shea and St.Ledger is a great player. Scrumbags need to cheat though,France are sh,ite and will be out before the 4th round. Same with Argentinia, what goes through Maradona's mind. Cmon,Gutierriez at right back and not bring Zanetti or Cambiasso in the squad. Obisa was running rings around Argie's defense and Obisa isnt exactly the most talented player. When Argentinia face proper teams they will be easily beaten,e.g. Robben vs Gutierrez and Van Persie vs Demiechellis. Only one winner i can see. -

from all the people posting here the only person posts that are worth reading are yours. All the rest don't have a clue. They just watch highlights of Messi getting hat-tricks against Real Valladoid and they think Argentinia are going to win the cup.CookieMunzta wrote: »I love how everybody's sure they know who's gonna win the World Cup, and who isn't, after only a few teams have played just one match...
I'm sure who i thinks gonna win but I actually watch matchs all over the world each day and actually know whats going on in the footy worlds. -

I was gonna quote something you said about Trappatoni and then comment on it, but I didn't want you to think I was talking about your posts in my last one
I can tell we're amongst the very few people here who actually watch Premier League and/or Championship football, week in, week out, and also analyse the gameplay
I do wish Ireland were at this World Cup though
maybe they could replicate that 94 win over Italy once more ^_^ -

i was only like 2 at the time so i cant remember =((
I remember in Korea 02 tho,Keano playing one of the best games of his career when we knocked out netherlands in the qualifiers. In the 4th round we were 1-0 down to Spain, got a penalty and that dope Ian Hart missed -.- Got another peno, robbie took it and took it to peno's. If robbie had taken the first one too we could have got to the semi's easily, considering i think Spain were playing Turkey after.
And i watch Airstricity leage/premiership/championship(cmon Ipswitch!!)/La Liga/BundesLiga and highlights from other countries all over europe so yeah,i see most stuff.
And i was rared from the beginning as a football fan. Grew up worshipping Roy Keane since we live like 15 mins from where he's from and i actually know his nephew. Got all the ancient Man Utd & Ireland jerseys except for Korea 02 when Roy got sent home. Threw that jersey away -.- With roy there we would have been in a really good position for the rest -
It was basically not a playoff game, so a tie didn't matter.
It's a miniseason. It was mainly Green, and that black center forward who missed every single shot.
I has lost all known respect for you Mr. Mooh
Heskey's not there to score dammit!! >_< I remember when we beat Germany 5-1, and even our own fans were singing "5-1, and even Heskey scored!"
He's a hold up player, keeps the ball in their half for us.
See you guys don't know about him, that's why he bossed the game for the 70-odd mins he was on

Heskey played a blinder but he still cannot put the ball in the back of the net -.- also,at the start Rooney was playing off the shoulder of DeMerit and waiting for flick ons, that wasnt getting Wayne into the game. When Rooney went in the pocket of space between midfield and defense he was a lot more influential. I think if England want to play their best, they need to use the formation United were using last season, with 2 holding midfielders with good long range passing (carrick/barry?),1 player that can cover all area's and make driving runs into the box (Gerard obviously) and 2 wingers that are great crossers,Lennon and J.Cole. I think in this style Roo will be amazing -

gogo USA (lol, cant even say that with a straight face) soccer (yeah i said soccer) will never be a well watched sport in the US, maybe cause its dissappointing and boring? i mean come on the first what? 4 games were ties, then the next was a 1-0 victory? soccer needs some action or something, and the goal is so big too... how do they miss it so much i mean the goddam thing is massive and the goalie can only cover so much of it, if they would actually shoot the ball at the goal it might be more interesting

Go watch you're padded 'football'
Why don't they just kick it through the goals. It's big and has no goalkeeper ==" -
Congrats Germany. I wish i placed some money on ye as the odds were 14/1 but i didnt =(
Ozeil/Podolski/Klose/Muller look amazing going forward and if Ballach was fit to take Khedirea's place I reckon they would be pretty unstoppable. The backs look ok,and Lahm/Badstuber are bought 2 of the best wing backs in the world. Neuer is as good as they come.
C'mon Germany!! -
Lol. I used to like American Football (as it is formally called), but all they really do know is push for yards. Stop and go games are annoying to watch, but thats all it's come down to: run a safe distance, catch ball, drop, move up and repeat (At least in the NFL and CFL).I watch match of the day

Can't say I didn't enjoy flag-football in grade school tho =3 -
