Failed to Download patch file

This is the problem, a long time ago, i used to play this game, and it worked pretty good so far, but now, i have just get a new Laptop, is a Hp dv4-2045dx with windows 7, and well, you know after you download the game and double-click to the icon and then appears a new window with many options and the option of "Start Game", so, i clicked on it, and then the game started to download some files, patch, i don`t really know what, but i think its ok, but when i get about the 60% more or less, and then there appears a new window with the message on it and there is an X in red just before this message: Failed to Download patch file.
