  • Theres not a set limit from what I can see personally but I got a Thompson after about 1000 crates so 1/1000, but during that time I won 3 Winchesters.

The Kriss I won after about 40 crates so 1/40 for me.
    My M4A1Custom:

    1/1

because there is a direct flow of money to them. this is why i only ask for ZP crates and i dont care about GP crates.

O your cool , because you spent zp.
Many people buy zp, and zp buyers deserve more than non zp sure. But demanding something?
  • I agree that they should post the odds. Even if it is different they should say ak-knife has 1 in however many whereas m60-adv has this other odd. And I agree about the manipulation part because if they weren't they wouldn't and shouldn't have a problem with stating the odds. And this is gambling there is no arguement there but it would seem virtual gambling doesn't have to post odds etc. like a casino would. I can see them not wanting to release how it works so as to stop or at the very least cut back on the people attempting to hack or cheat the system. I do not see where the problem is though in stating the average odds of getting a perm gun from a crate esp a zp crate as one had to support the game financially in order to get them.

I said he act like he was on top of the world. Why does it have to do with all this?

    Was this sarcasm?
Why would they show their variable / odds? Things like this is Random, and is done by a code generator??? Why would they tell us their variables and their odds?

and again: even if code generator generates a code it isnt pure random,it still has odds.
you should really start programming a bit, maybe u will understand then.
but normally u should learn things like this in school.
    probabilities,randomness etc. pp.
if u want me to explain it to you, then say it,but i really dont wanna give u a wall of text u dont wanna read and in conclusion wont read.

    I see,where the problem is.
The problem is,that they wont get as much money as they get atm.
the reason for this is the thing i dont know.
it could be,that they are manipulating the odds, but i dont think anything like that.
I would rather say, that the odds are pretty low and if they released it,just a few ppl would still buy zp(u rather buy zp if u think "I`m gonna win something,of course" and not "I bought 100k zp,the odds say i will win 7/10 of a gun,so maybe yes, maybe no...")

and again, misses the point entirely....
  • ok this is something they could implement EASILY just post the current average. as they know who opens crates when and they know when someone has won because they post it to the world. and over time these averages will get very close to the actual probability of winning. this way there is no way of back hacking the system and it gives use the information that we deserve.

NOW we are starting to get to it I think lol this is a VERY valid point I had not thought off and it wouldn't surprise me if this had a lot to do with it.
  • I got a question. Does the code generator make the odds smaller everytime someone wins?

I actually have to disagree here: the odds of winning the lottery are measured in inverse astronomical units but they have no problem making money each and every year. Similarly, as large of an audience as crossfire has managed to obtain, I doubt knowing the odds is going to stop many people from trying. After all, it may be 1/1000 crates gives you a weapon, but who's to say that YOU are not the one? That is the thinking that most gamblers can't overcome.
For the rest of us, it would merely help us to mathematically optimize how we spend our ZP. Supermarkets always have clearly displayed the price per unit volume, this helps shoppers be pennywise. Asking them to show us the odds is a bit like asking them to show price per common volume. It's just a courtesy everyone extends.
  • It's doubtful that Z8 will release the odds of winning permanent guns. However, there are odds, as a computer will never be completely random.

The only way you're going to find out is if you get a huge sample of people to tell you how many crates it took them, and you figuring it out yourself.
  • whether or not it's 'random', it has odds. I would also like to know em.
