Definetly pick M4 over Type89, Its stronger and more accurate, you can always compare the two weapons in the "compare" option when your in the Item Shop. I hope I helped ya!

M4 definitely beats the type89. I'm not saying type 89 is a bad gun, it's just that since it's up against the M4, theres no challenge whatsoever. Type89 is the closest thing to a silenced weapon, since it is pretty quiet, so good in ghost mode. On the other hand, M4 is just a beast all around gun in every mode.

type 89 - very very heavy...

otherwise an average gun.

M4, light, fairly accurate, fast ROF, modest power. probably the most balanced gun in the game.

The type is a very good gun if you play longrange almost exclusively because of its low recoil and firing rate but high weight and long reload time. IMO the m4 is more balanced, but I'd recommend the AK if you can handle it.

Type 89 is kind of situational. M4 and AK are better all purpose choices. Listen to the guy I quoted, he knows what he's talking about.
