Connection has been delayed

Crossfire works while I'm roaming around the servers and game rooms, but once I join the game and wait for it to load.. It loads up to 50% and then disconnects me into the lobby saying "Connection has been delayed".

Now I've googled and searched for this problem but nothing is helping. I've tried re-installing, turning off firewall, restarting my comp, everything.

I have 2GB of ram. That's enough ram to play this game.

Have you added all z8 files to the exclusion list of your anti-virus?

I am having the same issue, intermittently.
I stopped my Avira anti virus services.

i was playing nearly 5 hours ago without any problem but now i get this error too , i haven't done anything with my computer along the regarding 5 hours.

I'm getting this problem too! The game starts, and it loads to the middle, then it d/cs me and says the connection has been delayed. Any ideas?
