Where did my thread go?
So, i made a nice simple thread showing a trailer, nothing explicit, nothing against the rules, and its not competition.
Mods (metin2 to be specific) when you need remove something like that lock it and give a reason, remove the link if you must. don't make it disappear for no reason at all and expect us not to notice.
m2 mods learn how to moderate the forums properly otherwise leave off-topic to the cf mods.

I would be alright if it was just locked and there was a reason, but to make it disapear for no reason is stupid. -

this is a gaming forum and there are quite a lot of gamers here, a lot of people might have enjoyed the trailer. and its not like Z8 and Deus ex are in direct competition. if i posted a thread about combat arms, sure i would understand.
I wouldn't care if it was locked and there was a given reason, but to make something just disappear like that isn't very good in being constructive and helping the poster not repeat his mistakes. -

frankly, there are many rules in the z8 forums that just....well....are a little overboard.
and before you mods say it, i know that its supposed to "control the chaos".....but if people are going to do it anyway, wouldn't it cause more chaos to continue to get after people like this? -

Moderators are not forum gods, your the police and police who don't do the jobs well often make big news.
So its in their best interest to sort themselves out.

On another note, the whole closing a thread is a CF MOD decision because for some reason you all get offended without getting the specific rule told to you that was broken :P
See your post about two seconds before mine for an example of this.
However, in saying that, perhaps both moderating teams will iron out a set rulepath for moderating shared boards. -
