If they would just make it lose power over distance like every other SMG in the game it would be so much better... People can strafe around with just their head above a wall, moving 5 MPH side to side while spamming 20 damage bullets at 800 RPM that lack recoil and loss of damage over range. When 2 good strafers/bullet dodgers are playing each other, an M12 really is better than an assault rifle at medium range, even a powerful one like the AK-47. Sure the AK has more damage per shot, but to control the recoil to what the M12 is capable of you have to fire it slower. You can literally shoot 3-4 bullets from the M12 in the time it takes to shoot 1 bullet with an AK while controlling the spread. Plus the M12 has about the same close up damage rate as the AK shooting at full speed with maximum recoil.

Isn't it just great? It's even more delightful watching 4 M12s people running at you then T-bagging you calling you noob and then kicking you for actually trying to aim.

Ammo per mag and ability to spray down multiple close range targets quickly might actually go to the M12s IMO. The Kriss is still a better gun but the M12s arguably fills the roll of a subgun better.
It's pretty sad really. Either the M12 needs a huge nerf or the Kriss should get a slight buff. Probably both... -
