Do you just gotta pay a one time fee of 2000 zp? Or do they deduct zp from your account each time the team you voted for wins o_O?

only 2000 zp. You get free GP after they win the round robin and ZP after that.

Then you paid 2000 ZP and get nothing. That's why you go for a good team; Argentina, Brazil seems to be popular, Spain, England, idk bout US, and Mexico is what I would say. Maybe even portugal.
