what? Let me elaborate on this thread. you can't bind the side mouse buttons ingame to movement keys and we have a new player who uses the side buttons on his mx518 to strafe left and right in source so he needs to do it in crossfire.
Setpoint, the logitech program for mouse customization allows you to bind your side mouse buttons to keys so he can set them to "A" and "D" so he can in turn use the side mouse buttons as "A" and "D", the strafe buttons ingame, allowing him to strafe with his side buttons. in most fps's this works, not in crossfire, anyone have any suggestions/ideas? -

Yea, I misunderstood at first but talked about it with doop on xfire. Xtrap is stupid and blocks these sort of things with both keyboards and mouses. If you want to be able to use those buttons for things in-game, you have to set them to your direct in-game key.what? Does CF even support these bindings?
I have MX518 as well, I only use side butttons for PTT in ventrilo, as for me they does nothing in CF.
But, why exactly would you need these bindings anyway? CF probably has the easiest controls outta all games.., pretty straight forward.
