Really, kids need to stop bragging over scores.
This game is team based, not individual based.
This genre is team based - but as Kahlan said, teams still consist of individuals.

Even if 5 players are bad, if they have team work, they can do really well.
Ex: KillerWhales vs pLumbers.
Players from pLumbers are far more skillfull than KillerWhales, but they still lost. -

When your team is alive, it's better to be a good team. When they're dead, obviously you want to be good solo as well. But most of the time, and OK team with good communication and strategy will do better than a pretty good team all trying to win the game by themselves. That's why if a clan goes into a pub, even against good individual players they will have an advantage. -

It's a good score.
And about team play. Of course if 5 man form a team, and they are terribads, the team won't prosper.
But if you add GOOD tactics, the team can play way better and reach horizons.

Well with that team they all seemed to die and i wouold be the only one left and just kill the whole entire team i got kicked atleast 5 times -
