You are ranking the gold deagle below a regular deagle because it has 2 less bullets overall, are you mad? it has 3 more shots PER CLIP. If you have to drain an entire set of clips out of a deagle on an 8 person team, you can aim and you fail sir. Amount of bullets overall should have little to no effect on how you rank guns.
How not? Take 2 cars that each do 18MPG, one has a 16 gallon tank and the other a 14 gallon tank. Which wins?
Doesn't matter whats in the clip, a clever person can find time and cover to reload. Total ammo keeps you in the game longer.
Speaking in terms of pubs, I've run out of AK, tossed it, grabbed an M4, shot it dry, tossed it, then ran the Deagle dry. What happens, guy comes to rush me, I whip out a knife, he kills me from 15 feet away.
If I had one extra clip, one extra bullet, I would have been safe for at least another kill. Nope, he got me.
Look at the 2 MP5s. Normal has 30 rnds, advanced has 40 rnds. I can do quite well with both, but the advanced has +10 in total. More kills for me.
M12s. More powerful than the MP5, more potentially dangerous up close. 40/80. 120 total.
MP5 has 30/120, 150. More kills for me!
I'm not saying that ammo+ is better than anything else, so get a M60 and rock and roll. I am saying that if you are good enough, clip size is regardless, especially if the weapons in question are stat matched. Deagle vs Deagle, one with 40 total, one with 42 total, give me 42.
If the game had a bolt action, 5 round sticks, no scope, I'd LOVE using it! It'd be a blast! -

You're arguing over a gun running out in a 2:30 minute round against at most 8 people. If you spray enough to waste all of your clips in AK, all the clips except maybe 2 in that m4, then all of the clips in your deag, then no, you can't aim whatsoever and resort to spraying at everything you see. I can kill 8 people in one clip of a regular m4 if I actually tried. I have killed entire teams with 3 clips of deagle and have gotten plenty of 5k's w/ one clip of deag-g which would have ended up me dieing while I reload the deag-c since I usually get a kill on that last bullet right before his bullet regs on me. -
This is true in most parts, I have owned the gold-m4 and gold-ak both were complete waste of money. The gold-m4 has a wild spray pattern almost entirely impossible to control. While moving its 1 tap possibility is terrible. The gun is seriously bad unless you stand completely still and burst w/ it.
The ak-g was also disappointing but I won't go into that since it's off topic.
I bought the gold-m4 first, didn't like it, requested the onetime deal to refund a gun, got gold-ak, didn't like it, about 2 weeks later I logged on and had 143 coupons randomally, checked my storage and the gold-ak had bugged and disappeared and refunded me my coupons, no idea how that happened.
Anyways, in the end I now have a gold deagle and am pretty satisfied with it.
How do I refund a coupons gun? Cos I wanna refund my AUG-Camo.... -

You can kill 8 people a clip of M4? Thats 32 people in the life of the gun.
So if I claimed I got 32 kills with my AK, got another, lets say 16 from a half used M4 I picked up, and then got another dozen with my Deagle total 60 kills in one life.
Not very likely, right? Of course it isn't likely.
I rarely try hard in this game, but I think I do know what I am talking about. I am a very accurate player, and have gotten a good kill streak with one Deagle magazine on more than one occasion.
Example, here is a 6 kill I had. One knife, 2 deags, 2 golden headshots with the deag, and a regular headshot with the deag. 7 shots, 2 kills, 3 1-Deags, one knife.
Just because I don't single tap every target I come accross it makes my views invalid? It doesn't mean I can't make my shots count when I need them to.
Ok, so say I get a good 20 people with my 120 AK bullets, then get another 10 with a half used M4, and drop a dozen with my Deagle. That's averaging one kill every 3.5 Deagle bullets and one kill every 6 bullets for the rifle. By no means spraying, and that is a good 42 kills. 42 in one life is no easy feat, but it is very possible.
I've done 80+ kill TD games...
I'm in no means a try hard, if that is what you do then fine. I'll not take CF as seriously as I do my job and my schoolwork. Its a game, I have fun with it, and try-hard gets boring to me. So what do I do? I hold down the mouse button a little bit longer. Doesn't mean I can't aim, just means I take down targets differently than you do, and use a few more bullets.
Now, if I say that I can and have run out of ammo in a match, it does in no way mean it was all wasted or that I make up statistics...
