DSR or AWM?

I know AWM is more popular... but which one should I buy? I think most people like AWM more because they are used to it. But is AWM better just because people have quickscoped with it for so long or is DSR genuinely a better sniper rifle which people haven't adjusted to yet?

This argument is identical to Intervention v. Barrett on MW2. It all comes down to preference in this case. Neither is objectively better.

its all about the preference, if u like staying scoped in after shooting, get the dsr, if you prefer to quickswitch, DEFINITELY get the AWM because dsr is slow as sht when u take it out.

if u like single zoom, get dsr, if u like double zoom, get awm.

damage / accuracy and range are pretty much teh same, both one shot kill from both far and close.

i prefer awm because im too used to quickswitching but its ur choice.

They're almost the same, but the way I see it is that the DSR is more of a pick up and play gun, while the AWM has a slightly higher learning curve. Overall just pick whatever one you feel the most comfortable with, they're both good guns.

both are nice.

with the dsr i always quickswitch to pistol after each shot, because in mid range battles
you will lose feel for surroundings if you stay scoped.

if u have a sniping history go awm if u dont go DSR-1 i have a sniping history but the DSR seems to be better overall. all i have to learn is not to switch everythime io shoot. and no matter what anyone says it does have a faster fire rate by .5s
i think its a better gun if u get used to it, this would be hard to do if u used awm all ur life

This is really hard to answer because both are good.

I prefer the DSR-1 simply because I hate the sight of two levels!
only one me is more than enough!

AWM has the double scope, DSR has the single scope degree.
The DSR's single is between the AWM's two scopes in terms of zoom.

I think it can come down to what you do after your first shot.

You can retreat or get back behind a wall if you're peaking. In this case, AWM with its quickswitch will get you away quicker, and RoF doesn't even matter.

You can stay and try to get another shot in. In this case, DSR stays scoped in, and fires the next bullet faster.
