I came across this on my monthly check up of public hacks coming out (not to use them, just to see if they're there so I can watch myself).

And this is what I found from a popular hack site many of you people know that sell VIP almost unpatchable hacks.

Don't you think you guys should do something as drastic as this, z8games, to stop VIP hackers?

Yes, there are a very small amount of VIP hackers in CF, but small doesn't mean that hackers won't appear. Suing the hacker company will ultimately lead to a cleaner Crossfire.

So, what do you think...?

Just THREATEN them. You don't have to pay money on the case. The only reason they won't take them to court is because of money. So if they just threaten them they will give up. Just bluff it.

But hacks don't come from any one site do they? how can Z8 sue every hacker?

Suing one site is a big step for z8games.

Just think about it, it's better to stop one whole hack site then to do absolutely nothing.

They come from two or three major sites. The rest are usually scam sites.

Did you read the text? They did not sue every hacker - they're threatening to sue the creator and host of a hack. Therefor, the hack-site shut down their section for that game.

And this is exactly what should be happening in the near future with the CrossFire section in the hack site.

Ohh , Glad they are stoping the Hack's for USF atleast

but the thing is ... as long as they dosn't do server sided stuff , then they are Legal... Cuz they making hack's from Client sided files (The files that is on your PC) .. Im not protecting them , but honestly they aren't even hack.ing they are making cheating programs (Hack.ing is illegal like cracking your paypal account) ^^from files that are on the PC ,

Probably TOS or copyright infringement maybe.
If z8 made the TOS say no modifying any files and/or using 3rd party programs they could probably sue.

I'm not sure if anyone read the text but its the threat of a lawsuit that shut the section down, not an actual lawsuit.

Do they really? I remember somewhere, it said it's your responsibility. So the account is the persons property or w/e.

No, you can get banned for just sharing accounts but IMO z8 would only do that if they had a grudge on somebody. But yeah if they find out you are selling or have sold it gets perm banned.

The coder of the game is a whole company not located in North America.
Any profiteering made by Z8 from a side business would be none of the developers business - under the assumption that your claim isn't ridiculous nonsense - which it is. Point, the 'coder' wouldn't know if Z8 sold hacks.
