they did say that you might have to redownload the game rather than patching. try that first.

what is the latest version? is it 1041 or 1040? the current i am using is 1040 i downloaded 1041 and it said i needed the latest version. so is the latest version 1040 or 1041?

dude, i reinstalled it twice and then still, cant go on it, it says file changed: w[2007] L[O] crossfire.exe and i cant even find a crossfire.exe

i just fixed mine i redownloaded then when it installs and i turn of my anti virus and whenever i wanna play cf i turn of my anti virus and whenever i dont i turn it back on.

you know CF is on the internet so if you play you wil get virusses(not realy bad ones but still)

this problem happen when u r using windows 7 or vista the solution is change ur windows to xp i was having this same problem i was using widows 7 now i m using xp and its working
this solution is only 4 who is using pantium 4
