Crossfire.exe and avast!5 - rootkit?

Hello. Today, when I wanted to run Crossfire, avast! antivirus showed me, Crossfire.exe is rootkit (Win32:Rootkit-Gen [Rtk]). Before that I didn't have any alerts. Is it false alert? Can I be safe if I will ignore that alert?

I had the saem thing yesterday.
I even uninstalled CF and download today new CF, but same thing happend.
whats going on?

i have avast, have you tried putting gaming mode on it, stops pop ups, the game is perfectly virus free i promise you
