Running the game without using anti virus?

hi, i had the problem and detected a ROOTKIT in the crossfire.exe.i did what i saw on all forums. i reinstall the game. and while patching i turn off the ANTI VIRUS. and yes after patching i did enter the game. and then i log off the game to open the ANTI VIRUS and turn it on. and guess what. it did again detected the ROOTKIT on the CF.exe and now client wont work again. so does it mean from now on i should run the game client without the protection of ANTI VIRUS? -.-

G4box needs to talk to XTrap about these. So many people can't play CF because their antivirus blocks it.

hello there again, i just post new tread cos it seems most people are playing the game now and busy shooting head shots ingame without there anti virus running. i may find new solution and answer here maybe.
