Hardcore mode

I think it would be a good addition to the game to be able to select 'hardcore' in the game options of all modes. Basically it would be the same game except friendly fire is off, no ammo count in the bottom of your screen, no minimap and no kill marks. Keep the HP number though, that's pretty important, and in real life you'd still be able to tell if you were shot 3 times with an assault rifle. It would be a very simple way for Z8 to add in a whole new type of game that everyone can enjoy, without having to actually make any new content, and we all know how Z8 likes not making new content.

Your idea has potential. It would certainly change Ghost Mode for the better. Only problem I see with it, is people abusing the fact that friendly fire is off to steal ZP weapons from fellow team mates.

Hardcore mode is meant for games like COD4 and COD4 only. Definitely not CF material.

I think bringing a ZP gun with friendly fire ON would be a way bigger problem.

Eh so its a regular game without all your stats and sexy kill marks?

I dont think it would be that fun.

Doesn't it say Friendly Fire is "off" Meaning no one can be hurt by fellow teammates? Plus.. only reason ur scared of friendly fire is because u have tons of ZP guns like me

Thats pretty much all I have to say about this >_> and Im not trying to be mean or anything, its just that, there's no sense in making a mode without your Rez Files, HP, Ammo Count, etc.

FRIENDLY fire. So if you fire someone its friendly and doesn't hurt him so its ON. If it would be off then there is no friendly, just the fire.

Err no... This isn't cod. Also, guns are balanced with eachother yes, but i would say they're nearly all overpowered. Adding hardcore mode would just be stupid, ak's would near enough one hit every shot.

So many suggestions are just blatently stolen from cod. Although I wouldn't mind this in Crossfire, but we couldn't call it hardcore mode.

I never said anything about buffed damage/lower health. I still think it's a good idea. =( It's not like you'd have to play it, it's just an option that you could select if you wanted too, and it would be easy to implement for Z8. A lot of people might enjoy being able to play a game without all the distractions on the screen. And no, this isn't a ripoff of COD, a lot of games have a hardcore mode. I guess asking for the Barrett is a ripoff of COD too in your opinion, eh? F Call of Duty, they've ruined modern FPS games.

On would be a good feature obviously when your playing as a team not pubbing or team v pubbers.
