hey guys

i wanted to try the cf so i download it and install :P
when i run it and after waiting patch i get this error
hope someone can help me to fix it

Do a clean install for crossfire.

To do this follow these steps:

- Control Panel -> Z8Games -> CrossFire -> Uninstall CrossFire
- Open Up My Computer
- Delete the CF directory (Program Files/Z8Games/CrossFire/)
- Delete the CF directory (<user>/Document/CrossFire/)
- Disable your anti virus
- Run CCleaner
- Restart your PC
- Download the newest client from our downloads site
- Install the game from the new download
- Add the entire crossfire folder to your antivirus exceptions
- Re-enable realtime protection

It should work.

That means you've changed stuff in your .rez files. PUT IT BACK. (Also, deleting 17 is patched so you can't see ghosts w/out hacks.)
