yeh i thought id be alright seeing i knew the email and there was a security question guarding it... DONT rely on this people, the bastad got through the security question and changed the email.

A few modes but GM lab aswell, they got alot in clan bank, so lots of people are getting the cap thing/helmet and XP+ items

Accounts do not get hacked.

If someone gained information on your account and used that to gain access to your account then one of the 3 things happened.

1) You went to a phishing website and entered in your information. Usually in an attempt to get free ZP that is being offered by the scammer.

2) You willingly gave information to another person, whether its your brother, or mother or someone halfway across the world. Again, likely because they tried to offer you free ZP (which they can't give) and you willingly gave them your account information.

3) You downloaded a hacking program from a hack website. There are virtually no public hacks available for cross fire. And the ones that claim they work and are available either get patched immediately, or contain keyloggers, spyware and other viruses. These programs then hooked into your computer and send out information to the hacker. It is worth noting again that this does not mean your account got hacked. You willingly downloaded a program you knew was against the rules and/or contained a virus.

At the end of the day what this boils down to is that you lost your account on your own terms. Z8Games takes no responsibility for the security of the information on your account. I have had a gaming account in Cross Fire since day 1 of the game and I have kept it secure by not following the above. I change my passwords regularly and I make sure that no one gains access to my accounts.

If you do lose your information then you must contact support. However because it is your responsibility to keep that information secure Z8Games may not always be able to return the information to you. We will do the best we can to prove original ownership based on information we request from you. But there are no guarantee's.
